Western Parts of the Main Krkonose Trail
The track is part of the Main Krkonose Trail (‘Krkonosska magistrala’ in Czech) in the western and central Krkonose and offers views of the snow-clad mountain peaks and the foothills.
The Main Krkonose Trail starts in Harrachov, which you can get to by bus or train. Take a trip through the River Mumlava valley, via the Krakonosova snidane junction, to Vosecka bouda chalet. Continue via a mild ascent to Labska louka meadow and Vrbatova bouda chalet, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Krkonose ridges and the far-stretched countryside. After that, continue downhill to Horni Misecky where you turn left off the Main Krkonose Trail to the downhill courses from Spindleruv Mlyn to Medvedin hill, and continue along a track above Labsky dul valley to Spindleruv Mlyn.
