What Krakonos, the Master of the Mountains, Asks of You

  • Please show respect to our mountains. You will be travelling in places which deserve considerate behaviour and respect. 
  • The ridge areas are part of the Quiet Zone of the Krkonossky National Park where no walking in the open terrain off marked trails is permitted and where no free camping or putting up tents is allowed. Park your cars in the designated places, avoid private roads and land and always be considerate to the environment.
  • Do not dispose of any unnecessary wastewater from your barrels when you can take it a little farther to designated places. Don’t forget to take away whatever you bring in. Dispose of waste only in appropriate places.

Dolce Camp

Trutnov, map

A perfectly setup recreational complex near Trutnov, suitable for all age groups. It is very well equipped for holidays with or without children, and for good as well as bad weather. It includes a pool with a grass beach and a fishpond for sports fishing. Large meadows offer enough electric hook-up points and tent sites, and you can also use their cabins, mobile homes or guest house. The camp also offers campervan hire.

Slunecna Autocamp

Cista v Krkonosich, map

A quiet campsite in Cista, at the foot of Cerna hora Mountain. This site has a perfect position to give you a great choice of sites with all-day sunshine or shade, all with electric hook-up points. It has a pool with a grass beach, plenty of greenery around and, most importantly, is an ideal starting point for bike trips or mountain hikes along the ridges. The premises are perfectly equipped and the food is great.

This site is located in the River Labe valley at an altitude of 700 m a.s.l. It is open all year and offers 60 caravan and campervan sites, 120 tent sites and 14 well equipped log cabins.

This site offers comfort and excellent equipment. Hook-up points and complete amenities for summer and winter camping are available. The entire camp is also accessible to clients who need barrier-free access.

This autocamp is located in a forest in a quiet and attractive setting in the Krkonose foothills. It is open from spring to autumn. The premises include a children’s area, a high quality football pitch with all equipment and a small volleyball court.

Jiskra Camp

The Jiskra camp, located in Harrachov, the centre of the Western Krkonose and a well-known ski and tourist resort, is an ideal starting point for hikes to the ridges of the Krkonose and the Jizerske Mts. You can stay here in your caravan, campervan or tent, and cabins are also available. The camp is open all year.

Other Options for Caravans and Campervans

Do not set off for the Krkonose without a plan! Neither free camping nor putting up tents is permitted outside the designated areas due to nature protection regulations. However, everyone who wants to obey these rules and enjoy the Krkonose’s nature without spoiling it is welcome.
