Long Descent from Hnedy Hill to Vrchlabi

Pec pod Sněžkou - Vrchlabí

In this cycle trip, you can enjoy views of the eastern and central parts of the Krkonose, dominated by Mount Snezka, the highest mountain of the Czech Republic. Take a cyclo bus to Pec pod Snezkou and the chair lift to Hnedy hill, the starting point. Continue down along the cycle track for Lesni bouda chalet, turn right onto the K1B cycle track past Tetrevi boudy chalet and to the Kotelsky brook. Continue along the solid road down the K1D cycle track to the church in Dolni Dvur where you can hear the special local chimes if you arrive at the right moment. Continue along the main road to Horni Lanov and turn right for the track 4301 to Vrchlabi. Just before you enter the town, turn left and continue past the small chapel of Holy Trinity to the main road. Turn right and continue along the cycle track to the bus station.
