By Chair Lift to Hnědý vrch Hill
Take the cable car from Pec pod Sněžkou to Hnědy vrch hill. You can visit the viewing tower next to the upper station. From Hnědy vrch, follow the signs to the KRNAP 1B cycling track, which descends to Tetřevi boudy chalet. At the junction below the chalet, join the KRNAP 1G cycling track which is suitable for more experienced cyclists. In the lower part of this passage, you can visit the Berghaus’ Mining Trail. Go down from the trail to the KRNAP 1E cycling track, turn right and continue along the River Čista valley to Černy Důl. From Černy Důl, you can go to Janske Lazně or Lanov.
- Length: 8 km
- Surface: mostly along a mix of solid and reinforced roads. The section on the KRNAP 1G cycling track is technically quite demanding due to the soft surface and an MTB bike is therefore recommended.
