From Spindlerova Chalet through Poland to Horni Mala Upa
Take a cyclo-bus to Spindlerova chalet. From there, take the steep descent, some 4 km in length, to Poland. Turn right onto the ER2 international cycle track to ascend back to Bohemia to Pomezni Boudy, part of Horni Mala Upa.
This route will offer you views of the Krkonose from Poland, which is a completely different look. The Krkonose cyclo-bus will take you to Spindlerova chalet. Take a steep descent to Poland to a junction near the car park, some 4.5 km away. Turn right onto the ER2 international cycle track, and continue along the so-called Droga Sudecka trail for Borowice, a village which you will pass by on the right. Continue past Borowickie Skalki and then turn right. Some 1.5 km away at the next intersection, turn right for Karpacz Gorny and the Wang church.
Continue downhill along the ER2 track past the Golebiewski hotel and across the Lomnica brook. Pass by Ksieza Gora on the right and the Western City, and head for Krzaczyna, part of Kowary. The track does not lead to the town centre but continues via Jedlinky and glaz pamiatkowy. Follow the trail called Zolta Droga above Gorne Kowary, featuring the Park Miniatur, a radon spa and underground shafts, until you reach the main road for Pomezni Boudy, where you turn right and ascend to the village which is part of Horni Mala Upa.
