Krkonoše Tree Top Trail

The Tree Top Trail is located in the heart of the majestic forests of the Krkonoše National Park. We will show you what makes the Krkonoše nature unique. Together with us, you will get to know the local forests from the roots to the tree tops. You will become a part of forest life and meet a number of animals and plants that you will not find anywhere else. The trail with a total length of over 1500 m will take you through a diverse forest, where you will find many surprises and new things to learn. Your breath will be taken away by the view from the 45 m high tower, thanks to which you will find the giant trees, some of which are over 150 years old, right at your fingertips.

You will also visit a unique learning center, located in the underground of the wooden observation tower, and consists of an intricate tree root system. If you prefer self-study, you can use a large number of information boards that you can study undisturbed at the three stops located on the horizontal walkway. For groups, we also offer a guide – an employee of the Krkonoše National Park.
