Gallery of Ancient Art

The gallery is located in a former Franciscan monastery in Hostinne, a picturesque town in the foothills of the Krkonose. It displays a unique collection of castings of classical-era sculptures, presenting the key periods of Ancient art.

Especially the reconstructions of sculptures whose originals have been lost or damaged are unique around the world and can only be seen in this gallery, while most of the preserved originals are displayed in the world’s leading museums. The collection is open all-year-round for groups as well as individuals.
