The Museum of the Podkrkonosi Region in Trutnov is a regional ethnographic museum for the district of Trutnov. The Museum builds and registers collections evidencing the development of nature, prehistory and history, especially pertaining to the district of Trutnov, in the area of archaeology, ethnography and history.
The museum offers long-term exhibitions about the castles, chateaus and farmsteads of the Trutnov region. It also holds short-term exhibitions, inaugurations, seminars, lectures and other cultural and educational programmes.
