Salduv Farmstead

A historical monument, a chalet with a shingle roof and a very valuable decorated gable facing Zvedava ulicka Lane. This timbered house was founded before 1732 and today’s appearance, corresponding to the end of the 19th century, is a result of several reconstructions, when it was dismantled beam by beam and reassembled on new foundations, approximately 30 m closer to Zvedava ulicka. A stylized restaurant occupies the ground floor, and the upper parts serve for accommodation. Besides having a good meal or celebrating a nice day here, you can see an exhibition of paintings by local artist Josef Dufek, creator of the traditional Krakonos statue which is made of snow every year in Jilemnicke Square.
