Museum of Local Ethnography

The museum’s exhibitions are rich and diverse, presenting the history of the town and the surrounding region, the life of generations past, their culture, farming, crafts, skiing in Vysoke and the local tradition of music and theatre. 

Visitors will be attracted especially by the moving nativity scene by Jan Metelka Kovarensky from nearby Sklenarice, models of wooden houses and Nistejka Castle, painted historical furniture from the Pojizeri region, or a collection of Krakonos figurines.
