Jara Cimrman’s Lighthouse

This original wooden viewing tower, designed by architect Martin Rajnis and devoted to the greatest fictitious character in Czech history, is to become an all-year-round attraction of this tourist area.
The building is semi-sunk into the slope and rests in a stone quarried on the spot. The tower itself is made of pinewood, its original design is light and its silhouette resembles that of a lighthouse. The structure perfectly fits the hilly landscape around Prichovice. The viewing tower is 23.7 m tall.
