Janata's Mill in Jablonec nad Jizerou is a valuable example of folk architecture and a reminder of the history of milling.
The originally two-story timbered building, extended with a milling room up to five floors, has preserved its complete milling technology to this day. Notable features include the so-called French stones from 1767 and a fully functional bread oven.
The mill is usually open to the public during the Frantiskov Wood Carving event. A tour can also be arranged at another time directly with the owner. Visitors can thus glimpse into an environment where flour was milled and bread baked for generations.
