The castle in Rudnik, known as “Little Hluboka,” stands at the foot of a slope between Hostinne and Svoboda nad Upou. Its pseudo-Gothic style resembles the famous aristocratic residence, though its scale remains more cozy and tranquil.
The castle building is surrounded by meadows, where horses and ponies graze today. A memorial plaque here also commemorates the stay of the poet Frantisek Ladislav Celakovský, who briefly worked here as a tutor.
The castle is now privately owned and serves as a guesthouse. You can view it from the outside as you pass by, or use it as a stylish accommodation in the landscape beneath the Krkonose Mountains.
