Thanks to the cooperation between the Administration of the Krkonossky National Park, Mountain Rescue Service (Horska sluzba) and the Czech Association of Mountain Guides, eight ski touring tracks are now available in the Krkonose which for the most part follow marked hiking trails.

These tracks can be combined with other hiking trails and other paths and unforested areas in Zone 3 and Zone 2 of the Krkonossky National Park. Some very high-risk passages can be found in most of them, and in bad weather an otherwise comfortable hike may turn into a fight for life. These tracks are in no way secured!
