Cerna Hora Ski Resort (Janske Lazne)
The Cerna hora ski resort is part of the Cerna Hora – Pec resort, which has several centres in which you can use a single ski pass and which are connected by ski buses.
The resort offers 17.5 km of ski runs of all classes of difficulty. You will be taken to their tops by an eight-seat cable car, two chair lifts and nine ski lifts. Night-time skiing is possible on the Protez I ski run. A ski school, ski hire and ski services are available. Close to these ski runs you will find the Formanky Live Park, an excellent place for children. The youngest skiers can enjoy a practice strip, various learning aids, animation programmes as well as babysitting, ski school and snowtubing. A total of 55 km of cross-country trails are regularly groomed in the vicinity of the resort.
You can use your skis or take a SkiTour snow cat to get to Pec pod Snezkou in 25 minutes and then take a ski bus to Velka Upa, allowing you to ski in several resorts in one day. A ski bus will take you back to Janske Lazne.
The 3.5 km long Cernohorska sledge track runs on the slope of Cerna hora Mountain. It has been used for more than 100 years. You can try it yourself by day, or with a guide by night.
