The rivers Jizera and Labe (the Elbe) can be navigated by vessels without motors. Spring is a favourable period when the rivers are supplied with enough water from the thaw. This is also the time when the Jizera is suitable for rafting, which is organised by, for instance, Yellow Point (see below). The launch sites on the riverbank, designated by a pictogram, are: Harrachov-Na Myte, estuary of the Dlouhy brook, Vilemov, Jablonec nad Jizerou-Pod ostrovem, Hradsko-Nistejka and Horni Sytova. No other places in the National Park area can be used for disembarking, as protection of riverbank growths is of primary interest.

A unique opportunity which takes place only once a year in May is the drainage of the Labska dam in Spindleruv Mlyn. The upper river stream is suitable for the intermediate and the lower river stream can be descended even by beginners. Descending the upper stream requires a permit which can be obtained from the Information Office of the National Park Administration in Spindleruv Mlyn. The permit fully depends on the water level in the riverbed. Descending other rivers in the Krkonossky National Park area is not permitted.
