This Renaissance church is one of the buildings designed after a project by Carol Valmadi, a Krkonose architect of Italian origin. In this case the church was rebuilt in 1598-1602 and the architect had to respect the older structures of the tower and sacristy. It has a single-nave floor plan with a polygonal presbytery and a spire attached to the southern church wall. The nave has three severies in a cylindrical vault with lunettes, with the vault heads connected by a longitudinal ridge. The entire building is surrounded by a lunette cornice, a typical feature in Valmadi’s buildings. The top part of the four-sided spire includes an onion-shaped Baroque cupola with a lantern, covered in metal plates, on top of which there is a smaller cupola with a balloon and a cross.
