This track runs through beautiful sites in the eastern Krkonose and past interesting monuments which you can visit on your trip. Take, for instance, a cyclo-bus to Horni Mala Upa. From there, descend along the K24 cycle track to the church and continue onto the K1A cycle track via the Cestnik junction and Lysecinska bouda chalet. In Horni Alberice, you can take a short rest and visit the Vapenka (‘Limeworks’) museum. The octagonal museum was built on an octagonal 19th century limeworks tower. The modern exhibition uses short stories and photographs to present seven centuries of life in the Alberice valley. You can borrow the keys to the museum from the Vesely vylet information office. After that, you ascend to the Polish border and continue along the K1A cycle track around the Rychorsky kriz junction to Zacler. Take cycle track 4081 to Trutnov. On the road, we recommend visiting the Stachelberg fort with its underground sections. The descent ends in Trutnov, a town renowned for dragons, the Battle of 1866 and Krakonos beer, which you will certainly appreciate after a demanding trip. Horní Malá Úpa (1066 m n.m.), Dolní Malá Úpa, Cestník, Lysečinská bouda, Horní Albeřice, Rýchorský kříž, Žacléř, Stachelberg, Trutnov (414 m n.m.) = 30 km.
