The exhibitions of this museum are located in a granite building known as Sindelka. The name refers to the production of shingle from the beginning of the 19th century until the 1930’s. The last sixty thousand shingle pieces were manufactured in 1934 and used in the old building of Labska chalet. The forestry exhibition is located on the ground floor and presents various matters in forestry, from tree felling, through log removal to roads and their transport for further processing, to the replanting of forests and their subsequent management. The gamekeeping exhibition on the first floor is dedicated to the history and the present of gamekeeping, including traditions, deer hunting, hunting weapons and dogs, gamekeeping in art and in everyday life. The greatest attraction, especially for children, is the wintering reserve where several forest species gather around a crib which offers several types of forage. There is an elk, roe deer, wild boar, fox, hare and birds, altogether 14 stuffed animals of the total of 32 in the entire exhibition. Five uncommented video loops on various topics are shown in the museum. On the first floor you can enjoy a projection of photographs depicting the beauty of the countryside, accompanied by music. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm. Admission: 40 CZK basic, 20 CZK discounted, 80 CZK family admission.
